Role Summary
We're looking for a Senior Marketing Manager who is equal parts strategist, executor, and Web3 native — someone who proudly calls themselves a degen and is deep in the trenches of the ecosystem they're marketing to. This is a high-impact, generalist role that sits at the intersection of brand, growth, product marketing, and community.
You crunch data for breakfast, thrive wearing multiple hats, and move fluidly between scrappy activations and long-horizon strategy without losing momentum or quality. You translate on-chain insights into compelling narratives that help millions understand and love Trust Wallet — and if you have strong opinions on L2 wars, a wallet full of on-chain history, and can ship a campaign brief and a Dune dashboard in the same afternoon, we want to talk
What You'll Do
Strategy & Campaigns
Develop and own integrated marketing strategies across acquisition, retention, and brand — aligned to product launches, ecosystem milestones, and market cycles
Lead end-to-end campaign execution across Web3-native channels (X/Twitter, Telegram, Discord and more) and performance channels
Define positioning and messaging for new product features and market segments in partnership with Product and BD
Build and manage a marketing calendar that maps to both crypto market rhythms and global user moments
Data & Performance
Set, track, and report on marketing KPIs — DAUs, install volume, retention rates, campaign ROAS, community growth, and share of voice - all leading to company level OKRs
Leverage on-chain analytics tools (Dune Analytics, Nansen) alongside traditional analytics (Amplitude) to surface insights and optimize spend
Run structured A/B experiments on creative, messaging, and channel mix; translate results into actionable iterations
Own budget allocation across channels with a relentless focus on efficiency and ROI
Community & Ecosystem
Drive community engagement strategies across Discord, Telegram, and X — building loyal user cohorts, not just follower counts
Identify and activate KOL/influencer partnerships that are credible within the Web3 ecosystem
Collaborate with BD and ecosystem partners on co-marketing campaigns and joint growth initiatives
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with Product to shape go-to-market plans for new features, chain integrations, and partner launches
Partner with internal teams to produce high-quality creative that resonates with both crypto natives and mainstream users
Collaborate with Engineering and Data teams to instrument tracking, build attribution models, and close the loop between marketing actions and product outcomes
Mentor and support junior marketers on the team
What We're Looking For
Core Experience
5–8 years of marketing experience, with at least 3 years in a crypto, DeFi, or Web3 company (wallet, exchange, L1/L2 protocol, or DeFi platform strongly preferred)
Demonstrable track record of owning and scaling multi-channel campaigns with measurable growth impact
Prior experience in a generalist or "full-stack" marketing role — able to move across brand, growth, content, and product marketing fluidly
Web3 Native — Deep in the Trenches 🔑
You are the user: genuinely degen, active on-chain, with a wallet history that speaks for itself
Deep, lived familiarity with the crypto ecosystem — DeFi mechanics, multi-chain environments, self-custody, tokenomics and culture
Comfortable reading on-chain data and using tools like Dune, Nansen, or DeBank to inform strategy
Existing network within the Web3 ecosystem — KOLs, protocols, DAOs, media outlets, and builders
Aware of regulatory sensitivities in marketing crypto products across key markets
Data-Driven — Crunches Numbers Relentlessly 📊
Constantly scanning for opportunities, quick wins, and strategic bets hiding in the numbers
Proficient in marketing analytics: Amplitude, or equivalent; experienced with attribution modeling for mobile apps (Branch, AppsFlyer, or Adjust)
Fluent in on-chain analytics (Dune, Nansen) alongside product analytics
Can define north-star metrics, build dashboards, and communicate performance to leadership in a clear, concise way
Hypothesis-driven approach to campaign planning; treats every initiative as a testable experiment
Generalist Rockstar — Wears Every Hat 🧩
Thrives moving between fast-turnaround activations and long-horizon strategic initiatives without losing quality or momentum
Comfortable owning areas outside your "lane" — from writing a product BRDs to drafting community messaging during a crisis
Partner to product teams — steer the direction, design and iteration plan to maximize the product-market-fit for the target audience
Strong written communication: able to produce sharp copy, concise decks and compelling narratives
Operates with high autonomy in a flat, fast-moving, remote-first environment — no hand-holding needed
Bonus Points
Experience marketing a non-custodial wallet or self-custody product
Familiarity with Trust Wallet's ecosystem (multi-chain, Web3 Browser, Staking)
Prior work at a top-tier exchange (Binance, Coinbase, Kraken) or DeFi protocol
Multilingual or experience running global marketing campaigns
